Breast cancer prognosis

Dynemo’s breast cancer prognostic will use network biology to predict breast cancer recurrence by molecular examination of breast cancer biopsy or surgically resected tumor tissue. Tissues samples will be sent to one of Dynemo’s partner CLIA reference labs for gene-expression studies and, using network biology principles, Dynemo will analyze the gene-expression results to predict likelihood of cancer recurrence. The results will then be transferred securely to the patient’s physician or oncologist. This test will not be able to inform patients of their susceptibility to breast cancer, and will only apply to those recently diagnosed with the disease.

Large scale studies of Dynemo’s breast cancer test resulted in a prognostic accuracy of 83% when combined with histopathology data, which compares very favourably with competing molecular breast cancer prognostic tests.

Note to patients: Dynemo’s breast cancer test is not yet available.
